Supported by the PACA-Est Incubator since March 2010, Ubinode has just announced its merger with the German GreenCom Networks. Founded by three former Accenture employees and in partnership with the I3S laboratory at the Nice Sophia Antipolis University, Ubinode develops products which are used for the rapid deployment and administration of vast sensor arrays.
Munich-based GreenCom Networks offers solutions aimed at different organisations in the energy value chain. GreenCom Networks’ solutions allow better integration of generation and distributed storage systems as well as improved information and management for the low voltage part of the electricity network.
The newly formed alliance is able to respond to the challenges introduced by new business models focused on distributed energy management and its innovative offer is available to the entire European market.
With the creation of the subsidiary GreenCom Networks France, all research and development activities will still be based in Sophia Antipolis.
